Dr. Rotimi Aderohunmu holds a master of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Denver and a doctor of operations research and production systems from Southern Methodist University. Over the course of his career, Dr. Rotimi Aderohunmu has published papers with a variety of professional organizations, including the Operational Research Society.

The Operational Research (OR) Society holds several professional meetings every year. The most recent meeting was the OR60 Anniversary Conference, which took place in September of 2018. The highly popular conference, celebrating six decades of OR Society operations and services, attracted approximately 500 OR professionals from around the world. The anniversary conference was comprised of a multitude of plenary sessions and keynote addresses catering to both the academic and professional aspects of OR.

The three-day OR61 Conference has been scheduled to begin this year on September 3rd at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. The OR Society will also a host a New to OR Biennial Conference in 2019. Held from April 10 to 11 at the Aston Conference Centre at Aston University, the conference is ideal for those new to the field who are interested in sharing their work and ideas with a group of peers.
